University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) followed by Centralized Counseling through UPESEAT Merit rank
2)For B. Des only : In addition to UPESEAT, a separate Design Test will be conducted on the same day immediately after UPESEAT exam, followed by Centralized Counseling through UPESEAT Merit rank. Design Test will be of 1 hour
