About COMEDK UGET: The COMEDK UGET is an entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka to give admission to eligible candidates in the various engineering courses at the affiliated colleges.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in the country
• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Math’s and obtained a minimum aggregate score of 45%. (40% for SC/ST)
• Physics and Math’s should be the compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subjects- Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology
• Candidates must have also studied English.
• Candidates who have competed 10+3 Diploma from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Selection Procedure: on the basis of the scores in COMEDK UGET 2014

COMEDK UGET 2014 Paper Pattern: The COMEDK UGET 2014 Exam will comprise of two major papers

Paper 1:

• Physics and Chemistry with 120 questions (60 questions each)
• Duration: 120 minutes

Paper 2:

• Maths with 60 questions
• Duration: 60 minutes

Marking:

• Each correct answer will fetch one mark.
• There will be no negative marking.
• In case the candidate gives two answers to the same question, it will be considered as wrong.
• If there is a tie in the score, the board will consider the number of wrong and unattended answers to come to the final conclusion.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Application process:

• Candidates must apply online.
• The printout of the Online COMEDK UGET 2014 Application must be submitted along with the specified supporting documents and the DD for theapplication fee to COMEDK Office address given below.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Application Fees:

• Rs.900 (for candidates appearing for Physics, Chemistry and Maths)
• Rs.1100 (for candidates applying for Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology)

COMEDK UGET 2014 Application fee can be paid via: DD in favour of “COMEDK” payable in Bangalore

COMEDK UGET 2014 Counselling Process: 

• Candidates have to get their document verification done and pay the fees of Rs 50,000 by DD in favour of "COMEDK" payable at Bangalore.
• Candidates will have to register in person to be able to fill in their choices with regard to the institutes and branch of engineering
• Seat Allotment will be announced once the seat selection is done and candidates have to report accordingly to the allotted colleges/institutes
